WHICH ONE IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

Answer 5 quick questions about your driving habits to see if your next vehicle should be all-electric, plug-in electric hybrid (PHEV), diesel or petrol.

HOW MANY KILOMETRES DO YOU DRIVE IN A YEAR?

WHAT SORT OF DISTANCE ARE MOST OF YOUR JOURNEYS?

WHAT TYPE OF DRIVING DO YOU OFTEN DO?

DO YOU HAVE RELIABLE ACCESS TO CHARGING AT HOME OR AT WORK?

DO YOU FREQUENTLY (I.E. ONCE A MONTH OR MORE) DRIVE VERY LONG JOURNEYS (I.E. OVER 300 KILOMETRES)?

WE RECOMMEND: PETROL

PETROL

Our petrol vehicles are an ideal choice for drivers who primarily take shorter journeys and tend to drive fewer kilometres on the motorway.

All our new petrol vehicles utilise the latest technology, including GPF (Gasoline Particulate Filters) to help reduce emissions.

  • Well suited to dynamic or high-performance driving
  • Typically, more suited to shorter urban journeys than diesels
  • EU6 compliant with cutting-edge technology to reduce emissions
  • Enhanced fuel efficiency with a choice of Jaguar mild hybrid petrol engines

  • More tailpipe CO₂ emissions than diesel engines

WE RECOMMEND: DIESEL

DIESEL

All our vehicles fitted with Jaguar's new Diesel engines are a great fit for drivers predominantly taking longer journeys on motorways with some city travel. All our diesel vehicles are fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and use Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) to meet stringent regulations and lower tailpipe emissions.

  • Typically, more fuel efficient than petrol engines
  • Often feature more low-end torque, ideal for motorways, towing and off-road driving
  • EU6 compliant for emissions with CO₂ level approximately 15% below petrol^
  • Diesel engines provide up to 25% more fuel efficiency than petrol engines^

  • New diesel won't always be at its efficient best if you only take short trips or mostly drive in cities

WE RECOMMEND: ALL-ELECTRIC (BEV)

ALL-ELECTRIC (BEV)

Our all-electric performance SUV, Jaguar I-PACE is powered by two electric motors and a battery. Charged by plugging into an external power supply and regenerative braking, it delivers a thrilling, near-silent drive with zero tailpipe emissions.

  • 470km of range from a single charge*
  • 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds
  • Lower running costs compared to petrol or diesel
  • Road tax exempt
  • Free to drive in low emission zones in many cities

  • For the fastest charging at home, we recommend a professionally installed home charger
  • Private off-street parking is required for home charger installation

WE RECOMMEND: PLUG-IN HYBRID (PHEV)

PLUG-IN HYBRID (PHEV)

Featuring the technology to switch between an electric motor and a petrol engine, Jaguar PHEVs are perfectly suited to daily commuting and driving around town with zero tailpipe emissions when in full Electric Vehicle (EV) mode.

  • Zero tailpipe emissions in full Electric Vehicle (EV) mode
  • Lower running costs compared to pure petrol or diesel
  • Convenience of switching to petrol for longer journeys
  • Easily charged with an external power supply

  • For the fastest charging at home, we recommend a professionally installed home charger
  • Private off-street parking is required for home charger installation

PETROL
